6) Nuragic Complex of Noddule
The complex is far 13 kms from Nuoro, along SS389, towards Orune and Bitti direction at km 86, just after the crossroad to Benetutti.
The site is open to the public and at the entrance you can see several megalithic circles. After them, there is a huge nuragic settlement. Behind a particular nuraghe, it’s possible to observe some quadrangular huts of roman period.
Nearby there is a giant tomb of small sizes.
In the nuragic area there is a sacred zone: a fence with several cicular rooms and, in its interior, a huge nuragic fountain still in activity.
The site testifies a vast sardinian history period that goes from prenuragic age of megaliths, to roman age.
