Castello della Fava - Posada
Posada has one of the best-preserved mediaeval fortresses in Sardinia, dating back to the 13th century.
It is located on a hill in Borgo di Posada. From the fortress, you can admire a vast panorama, ranging from the valley of the Rio Posada river, through to the beaches of Baronia.
Built entirely in rough stone, the fortress has a tower surrounded by walls that served as a defence against enemy attacks.
Opening times (in October): Open everyday from h.09am to h.01:30pm (last entry at h.01pm) and from h.03pm to h.06:30pm (last entry at h.06pm)
Open till 15th October.
Ticket: €3,50 Adults over 12 years old; €1 for children from 10 to 12 years old and for Over 80 years old; Free for: Under 10 years old, disabled people or residents in the Municipality of Posada.
