Sa Marina and Matta e Peru

Sa Marina and Matta e Peru

The Pines Riviera

Matta e Peru is a long, thin strip of sand, alternating with rocky sections, between Punta La Batteria and Punta Orvile. Behind it, the green pinewoods that are an ideal place to spend the hottest hours of the day. The colours of the pine trees and the shallow waters make this a particularly stunning beach in photographs. Another place worthy of a visit is the bay known as La Pinetina, just a few metres north of Matta e Peru. North of the cape of Punta La Batteria, is the little bay known as Sa Marina.

How to get here

From the centre of Budoni, continue southwards along the SS125 road, towards Posada. Pass the village of Tanaunella and continue for another three kilometres or so. The first place you will come to is the entrance to La Pinetina then, further on, the access to Matta e Peru on the left, following the signs to “Matta Village”.
