4X4 Off-Road Excursions to Monte Nieddu

Take an off-road (4x4) trip inland in Gallura for a unique adventure at the heart of Monte Nieddu!

The cool, clear waters of Rio Pitrisconi create little waterfalls which flow into pools, excavated in the granite rocks.

The programme:

Departure from San Teodoro at 09am.

The excursion departs from a welcoming Gallurese stazzo in the Aresola valley.

You’ll be travelling the traditional routes and passes once used by the charcoal burners.

You will reach the top of Monte Nieddu with its spectacular panoramic views out over the sea and the island of Tavolara.

Then you will continue on to the waterfall area, where you can swim in the stunning natural pools.

Take your camera with you, because you will see views of Gallura's east coast that will take your breath away!

Don’t miss the thrill of excitement from the rock walls, into pools that are dozens of metres deep.
