Not too far away from the village of Agrusos, these beaches, thanks to the protective effect of the Posidonia oceanica (a form of seagrass that helps to keep our sea and beaches in excellent health), there is a wide variety of marine and coastal flora and fauna.  The beach is crossed by a stream fed by the Li Cuppulati pond. The seabed is mainly rocky.

Li Cucutti is a curious Gallurese name that may refer to “small peaks” that offer opportunities to discover the sea creatures that populate the small cliffs in the bay.

Li Cuppulati ("the turtles" in the dialect of Gallura), is a long strip of sand between the pond and the sea. The waters here are perfect for snorkelling. The cape that separates the two beaches is covered by a cool pinewood, with footpaths to connect the two sandy inlets. 

How to get here

Take the SP1 road for Agrustos, turning right before the village and continuing as far as the entrance to the beach, which is marked by a sign, at the beginning of a dirt road. Continue for around 1.5 km. Alternatively, from the centre of Budoni, head north on Via Nazionale, then turn right before the cemetery and continue for around 1 kilometre as far as the sign indicating the entrance to the beach.
