Fido Beach

Fido Beach

A little oasis dedicated to our four-legged friends. This beach was originally known as Li Salineddi, Gallurese for "little salt marshes". It is located on the small cape separating the beaches of Agrustos and the first part of the Salamaghe inlet, leading into the beautiful bay of Budoni. Accesso to Fido Beach is free but there are some simple rules to respect, as stated on the sign at the entrance to the beach itself. These include the obligatory picking up of waste and use of leads, as required throughout the municipal area.

How to get here

Take the SP1 road for Agrustos, turning right before the village and continuing as far as the entrance to the beach, which is marked by a sign, at the beginning of a dirt road. Alternatively, from the centre of Budoni, head north on Via Nazionale for around 1.5 km, then turn right before the cemetery and continue for around 1 kilometre as far as the sign indicating the entrance to the beach.
